Dan Lok - Muk Jong Beginners Training Drill

Yeah, nothing to realy disagree with him about. Perhaps about the end of the arm being the elbow, I think of them more as though they are incoming punches, and the part of the arm I consider myself to be contacting depends on what I'm doing. Sometimes it's more a wrist, sometimes closer to an elbow, sometimes the upper arm. it changes.
The other thing I might disagree with is that a beginner should be working with a dummy. now, granted he may mean an otherwise experienced student who is a beginner on the wooden dummy.
I get the impression that it could be an unpopular opinion, but a beginner to wing chun, in my opinion, shouldn't be working with the dummy. all the mistakes and inconsistencies in their force will be amplified, and it will almost certainly teach themselves to be too tense.
