This 184 page, 1984 paperback, compiled by CHINA SPORTS Editorial Board, discusses Wushu among the Hui people of China. It briefly profiles two masters, then shows a Zha style form, a Tantui kicking exercise, a set of warm-up exercises, and Yongzhanquan ("boxing for the brave"), a Wushu routine based on Zha-style shadow boxing and kicking exercises. The techniques are demonstrated as line drawings.

The writing is typical of government-produced propaganda, laudatory and nationalistic, with tales of the defeat of Japanese and American opponents. The quality is other wise acceptable but not notable, and the book contains too little information on the particulars of Wushu among the Chinese Moslems to be of interest.

Does anyone know anything about the practice of Kung Fu amongst the Chinese Moslems? In what ways does it differ from other systems of Kung Fu?
