This 40 page glossy paperback from Morning Glory Press (no author credited; 3rd ed., 1987) is a picture book of Chinese kung fu. The pictures, with paragraph-length captions, cover a wide variety of forms of Wushu (as the book describes it). In the "shadow boxing" ("barehand exercises") section, it discusses Fanziquan (continuous-attack boxing), Shequan (snake), Zuiquan (drunkard's boxing), Piguaquan (armswing boxing), Ditangquan (tumbling boxing), Taijiquan, and others. Most are illustrated with a single picture of a solo practitioner. In the "exercises with weapons" section, we see the spear, cudgel (monkey style), sword (including drunkard style), double rings vs. spade, broadsword (several times, including with shield), and others. In the "combat exercises" section, referring to two-person prearranged exercises, we see several situations, principally involving one or more weapons. Two other sections are devoted to a gallery of practitioners, young and old, and a brief set of photos of the Shaolin Monastery.

This is no more than a picture book--a coffee table book--but the pictures are good quality and it serves that purpose well.

I wonder if there is anybody who can verify how good the info is on other styles listed here. Surely there are some on this site who could.
