Tekno J-3?

Nike?

How do you rate each dobok? I'd love to hear thoughts on each one.
Thanks

Tekno J-3 breaths alot for the tournaments and I like that aspect.

I partial to the material of the Adidas GM uniform, but have only seen the ones with the stripes and I don't care for the "flash". I'm still using my outdated Adidas comp uniform. I've never tried a J3 but I always hear good things about them.

J3...it is cut longer to "mask" the length of your legs...nice vents...and the fabric is really soft...no "breaking in" required...plus it looks really spiffy

I used to have 2 doboks for competition. One for sparring that was med.-lightweight and very well broken in for ease of movement and wicking away moisture. The other one was heavierweight and stiffer. It was only for poomse as it "popped" much better from punches, blocks and kicks.

For fighting I wear a Bold Look. I have used others, but I still go back to it. For forms I wear a custom made 16 oz. cotton.

I like the Shureido and Tokaido uniforms, but then we use the older wrap style rather than the v-neck, so I'm limited.

No, I really haven't yet. But for me, I got a "plain Competition" dobok as my every day dobok (as well as my "dress" dobok) Since we wear black pants in the USCDKA, I use SangMooSa, because they're the only ones who sell ribbed black pants.

I like Tekno. Maybe I'll use them when the time comes.

J-3 gives most people a longer look with the longer top. Wear wise it's light and airy yet pretty durable.

I think it all depends on personal preference. If you want a little more pop in your dobok for forms or one that sokes up swet well and is loose and light for sparring. I like my Dynamics grandmaster for both I think it has a good mix it's light and loose, but it also gives me a good snap.
