Us Brits have put on here several times that the Daily Fail is an extremely biased and self serving tabloid which never lets the truth get in the way of a good story. Here's what happend when a Daily Fail reporter tried to get a story from the ladies at Mumsnet ( which is quite influential believe it or not, politicians take great heed of them, well you would wouldn't you!)

The ladies don't mince their words, do they.....

They certainly don't! they are actually a very powerful group, mostly of a certain type of British woman, educated, articulate and willing to put their money where their mouths are. Fathers are allowed of course but are invariably of the same ilk as the women. You get very intelligent debates on there. It would be a foolish politicians that didn't listen to them or even to upset them, they can topple them, they are certainly powerful enough.
