Hobbit! Happy belated Thanksgiving, girl!
 
Made beef wellington for dinner last night. My first try at it. Turned out pretty good and while it was a pain in the *** to make (took two days), I think it's worth it.

I need to work on pretty plating.

Talk with my uncle's son-in-law, who is an MD.
My uncle is holding his own, but he does not expect him to get better. PArt of the reason for that is he believes my uncle caught covid while in the hospital getting tested for cancer. And the test came back positive for cancer.

and yet, not a single staff member inside was wearing a mask!
I looked at the sign-in sheet, the person before me (with mask) was there to get tested....I looked at the receptionists, on the little pad, and then I walked out.
I had been getting good service there for years, but that is just incredibly stupid and recless.
Might need to go to Hubby's doc. They have been taking this serious all along.

The other place was much better.
the tooth is still not right, but the GP gave me antibiotics.
wait and see. Not too eager to go to the endodontist. I just hope the situation holds til new years

Ironically my wife changed dentist for the very opposite reason. Everyone in the office, the receptionist, hygienists and dentist were all in full PPE

So sorry to hear this Xue. Prayers for your uncle and the family.
Going to where the virus is the most prevalent is a genuine catch 22 that people need to consider.

He caught Covid in the hospital because he was not feeling well. They ran tests and found he has cancer

I am doing what I can. Working A LOT. Because of the rise in COVID cases and a team member taking a new job a couple of months ago, my workload had quadrupled. When I am not working my cases, I am figuring out ways to work them faster.
