Last class was the first time I used a dragon pole (6 1/2 point pole) before. I'm still a beginner to Ving Tsun. After a pretty intense workout with it (top of the pole height of my head and keep it there while i lift the other end up above my head and drop back down and repeat). I felt fine afterwards until about 2 days passed. Now the palm of my hand where the pole was, as well as my wrist and about every part of my forearm is so sore. Just shoots with pain during some movements. Is this normal for a beginner after using that pole? Or should I stay away from classes until i'm back to normal? Thanks!
