I've begun a thread in the aikido sub-forum discussing the perception of the art in the minds of martial artists that do not/have not studied it. The thread is not a style bashing arena but rather a way for those of us in the aikido world to better understand what others believe aikido to be as well as a way for those who have never given much thought about the style to be introduced to it by folks who love it and are willing to and eager to discuss it. Like many of the smaller sub-forums here we don't get near the traffic of some others and this is my way of attempting to light a fire over there. Enjoy, and I look forward to your input.
