Since most of my students are young children, I mirror the school district's scholastic calender for Holiday vacations, hence this is my second week off from martial arts classes.
It feels like a month!
I'm jotting down pieces of articles I write for the newsletter and am assembling study sheets for my students. In a week, I'll be teaching two new yellow belts, a new orange belt and three new white belts!
One thing I tried with my study sheets and training didn't pan out largely because of the nature of the curriculum - it is too involving to break down elements too far. I remain intrigued, however, at a different approach to the training and will keep turning that over in my mind.
