the thing that really sucks for fights isn't the training i could spend all day in the glym geting sweaty and not care but the eating healthy part sucks. one bonus to being a girl in muay thai is that there is so few of us around that we don't have weight classes so we don't have to cut weight. but even not having to cut weight i'm trying to get a few pounds off just to be a little quicker and healthier food tends to make training easier. i found out the last time i fought this girl that getting the right food is really important for me so i dont end up getting sick and feeling like i'm gonna hurl before i even get in the ring. it's ben really hard to make myself stick to a diet because lets face it healthy food either doesnt taste good or doesnt taste like anything at all while junk food is delicious. one thing that is kind of a blessing and torture at the same time is i dont have access to a scale at all. neither of the gyms i train at have one (though honestly im not looking very hard) it's kind of good because i can't obsess about what i weigh but then again if i'm eating healthy and not getting anything out of it i wanna know.

Does your college have a P.E. department? Weight room? Maybe they have a weight scale there.You could even ask your P.E. teacher if they have one or more near or in their coach or their physical education building.
 
i've been using the campus weight room but i havn't seen any scales i'm not really looking for them. i'm looking forward to finding how much weight i've lost when i get to my fight
