12-29-2009 11:28 AM: Cagewriter readers, it's your turn to decide the best of 2009. Today, we ask you to choose the biggest upset of the year. What fight made you say, "NO WAY!?!'

Brian Bowles stops Miguel Torres' winning streak: Before WEC 42, Torres had one loss on his record. Bowles used Torres' aggressiveness against him, and took him out in the first round, taking the WEC bantamweight belt.

Brett Rogers takes out Andrei Arlovski in 22 seconds: After Arlovski was knocked out by Fedor Emelianenko, he was given what seemed like an easy fight at Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields. Instead, Arlovski didn't throw a punch, and Rogers knocked him out in 22 seconds.

Mackens Semerzier submits Wagnney Fabiano: With first-rate BJJ credentials, WEC featherweight Fabiano wasn't likely to lose by submission. Enter Semerzier, a Miguel-Torres trained fighter. He slapped a perfect triangle choke on Fabiano, making him tap out in the first round.

Paulo Thiago knocks out Josh Koscheck: At UFC 95, Koscheck was a heavy favorite, but that didn't mean much to UFC newcomer Thiago. He knocked out Koscheck in the first round, though Koscheck didn't agree with the stoppage.

Joe Warren beats Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto: Warren, a Greco-Roman wrestling world champion, made his debut with a win over former WEC champion Chase Beebe, but that was nothing compared to his second fight. In the second round of the Dream featherweight Grand Prix, Warren won a split decision over Yamamoto, widely considered at the time one of the world's best fighters whose last loss was in 2002.

Now, it's time for you to decide. What was the biggest upset this year?
