My daughter has had enough of working with racehorses, it's dangerous and she's getting a bad back and knees so she's decided she wants to be a fitness instructor. She has done martial arts for over 15 years, does cheerleading and street dance as well as being very very fit. We've looked at various companies that offer correspondance courses but they are very expensive however if they are worth it I will help her pay.
The YMCA training courses have caught her eye though as they are considerably cheaper and I'm sure I've seen gyms advertise their instructors as YMCA trained. Has anyone any experience of their training courses or know if they are valued by the fitness industry?
For practical experience she's going to be helping in an army gym but needs to get qualifications for a job or too work as a personal trainer.

I'm, wondering too because the YMCA is an international 'company' as opposed to the others which are purely UK.
