Hello all, I am Choladeva and I usually stay in the KS section and am venturing out to view the MAT!
Anywho, I saw some vids on youtube the other day and saw a striking resemblance to our forms. Many argue KS systems are solely korean in origin, however these seemed so similar I had to show them to my instructor (Master Yang of Kung Jung Mu Sul). He said a long phrase in korean and then stated, "Dragon, Crane, Tiger, Snake. There are five animals, what do you know about them?" The matter-of-factness of his tone made me wonder, but all he said was that old martial arts are often similar. Here are the vids:

and one more. Here is the problem: no matter where else I looked, the forms looked way too different in stepping and execution. Does anybody know the particular style, because it seems like of the several southern five animal schools, none of the vids I have seen look like these! I looked at SWYI.com but it too was not too specific in which southern five animals system it teaches. these are great forms and I wish to know more!

Hellllpppppp
