What would make the ultimate fighter? I'll show you what I think:

Punching speed of Muhammad Ali
Kicking Speed of Bruce Lee
Footwork of Bruce Lee
Pain endurance of Johnny Knoxville ;)
Gymnastics/athletisism of Jackie Chan
Strength of Matt Furey
Cardiovascular endurance of Master Sken
Flexibility of Jean-Cluade Van Damme
"Poker face" of Jimmy Carr (British comedian)
Left jab of John Prescott (http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Politics/Pix/pictures/2001/12/17/prescott_punch.gif)

What do you think?

All of that is good, but I would say that the ultimate fighter would be the one that had the most to lose, the right situation, the determination, and the total lack of fear for dying, should he lose it all.

The training is good, the skills good......but there is a lot to be said for the presence of luck. One lucky shot, well placed, whether from x-Dan level Black Belt or untrained newbie, can end it all.

Yeah, I'd worry greatly about the guy that you listed. He'd put up a hell of a fight. However, show me a man that has nothing to lose and no fear of the outcome, and I'll show you someone that is downright scary.

Of course, this all assumes that a *lot* of other things are equal, so let's not start *that* debate.....:D

Pardon my rambling....all meant in good fun. I see your point, and where you were going.

Don't mind me.....I'll just be over here training, so that at least I don't get mistaken for a dance partner if I ever meet that ultimate fighter....and piss him off.....:D

Peace--

OK, where to start.

The legs of Daisy Fuentes
The lips of Sandra Bullock
The you know whats of Pam Anderson
The butt of JaLo
The........ What? Oh! I'm bad, I thought you you said the Ultimate Nighter

An ultimate fighter is more mental than anything else...

I'd have the skills of... Too many people to name
I'd have the heart of... Too many people to name
I'd have the precision and mind control of... Too many people to name

Jean Claude is a joke. I'd rather have the flexibility of a good ballet dancer or a McDojang guy.

Give me the strength of Paul Anderson and the speed and coordination of Bruce Lee. Also add in the longevity and jujitsu work of Wally Jay. And the shooting skills of any of a number of elite special forces guys around the world.

I want the flying ability of Ashida Kim and Count Dante's maiming skills!

Add:
Punching accuracy of Joe Louis
The come from behind quality of Sugar Ray Robinson
The toughness of Benny Urquidez
The kicking ambidexterity of Chip Wright

Dan Anderson

This would work really well if the guy ended up looking like Pee Wee Herman...
