We've a place here called Tommy's that makes some very good (chili) burgers. Their slogan says "Famous by Noon Tomorrow"... hmm they didn't make the list.
But it's a good place to get heartburn... oh yeah! :uhyeah:

I know that this was just a special but boy was it good!
I went into Fudruckers in Flint about eight or so months
ago and they had Kobe beef burgers! Now I don't know
really where the meat came from and they were pretty
expensive but I have never had a hamburger quite like
that! Ahh, I can almost taste it now! Nothing like a really
good burger!

ps
I am assuming the beef came
from Kobe Japan!

Kobe beef comes from japan. It is the meat of calfs which are fed a diet of alchoholic beverages and sour mash and given daily massages. I am not making this up. It is some of the most expensive hamburger meat on earth.

So there you go.

The Japanese prize this meat.

The Messages and diet make for a hi fat content, hence the flavor ;)

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the link! I knew that Kobe beef comes from
Japan and the process that makes it taste oh so good!
Still your link is good for referance when describing it to
my friends! I was kinda've just not absolutely sure that
Fudrucker's had real Kobe beef even though that is what
they advertise it as! However, that hamburger was so good
that my wife and I would drive right back down to
Flint if they ever had that special again! Even though
they said it was Kobe and it was pricey, it seemed still
cheap by the standards that Kobe beef usually goes by!
Hence my wondering if it was the real deal! Thanks for
the link though, it is a good one! Sorry it my last post
was confusing!

There are no good burger places in town. The place Rich Parsons and I went is the best in town, and it's only adequate.

I haven't eaten at any of those, though I have had a Cheeseburger in Paradise (in Hawaii).

Anyone else a fan of Ruth's Chris Steak House for steak?

Hmmmm.....if this is true, and there IS such a thing as reincarnation....I just might hope to come back as one of these calfs. I know I end up dying young and end up on a bun....but it just might be worth it!
