Taco Bell's ad mocked veggie lovers by saying that bringing a vegetable dish to a sports party is "like punting on fourth and one." The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a health advocacy group, rallied its followers to be vocal about their protests via Twitter and got enough vegetable lovers to make Taco Bell change its tune.

Give me a break!! It's a superbowl commercial. What's next banning the "eat more chikin" commercials because they encourage mass killings of chicken?

"Taco Bell change it's tune', they didn't really say that did they lol! The only thing I know about Taco Bell is from the film 'Demolition Man'!

That is the funniest thing I have read in MONTHS. I just can't imagine it, and yet, I know I should.
Taco Bell is honest enough that they do not call what they serve Mexican food. They call it Mexican INSPIRED food.

Hahahahahaha

I plugged some numbers in to check out the scores and bread had a positive health score while while grass fed beef was negative. I guess the word "Science" in the name of this organization is just a marketing term. They seem to be a vegetarian or vegan agenda organization that is trying to portray themselves as independent and sciencey.

Wow that calculator thing is really biased. Being diabetic I have a relatively strict and from what my dietician tells me, a very healthy diet, but according to that I need help! :bangahead:

certainly vegetarian oriented. you eat no pork and beef you are in the green.
I call bogus!

It's a crying shame that it's gotten to this point. I found the commercial very funny, I would have had love to see Taco Bell stand their ground on the commercial and basically say if you don't want to eat our product then don't buy it.

Chick Fil'A trying to to sue a Vermont farmboy for selling homemade silkscreen shirts that say "Eat More Kale" (grammatically correct spelling and all...) comes pretty damn close.

I am sure the Kale shirts are now selling like hot chikin sammiches....
