Shureido GI

I happened to come across a deal for 5 sets of Shureido GIs, Size 4.5 for sale. Used, but my size and plenty of life left in them. All heavyweight, but do not know exact model K10, NW3. Strangely I did not have to shorten the legs or sleeves. Someone already had, even to adding the 9 rows of stitching!!!!

Two sets have all labels in correct places. One pair of pants has label in INSIDE., rest normal.

Two Jackets have labels on back of neck but not on bottom edge of jacket at opening. remaining jacket has label on bottom corner of jacket but not on neck collar.

I took them to dojo and opinion was they were old, used but authentic.

Anyone have an explanation? Factory seconds? Discontinued model? reason for owner to remove labels?

If anyone has Shureido labels they would be willing to part with I would be interested in purchasing them. send me a PM.

Since you said the Karate Gis are old. In the 80s there was a short time Shureido imported their Dogi with the labels off or with them inside like you mentioned yours had and shipped with labels if one wanted to attach. There was a issue with import fees or something for labeled goods. I had a couple of them come in like that. "


Interesting....didn't realize they were that old. LOL.
