Thought I would start a historical thread (hopefully, we don't get any my history is better than your history stuff..lol)

Anyways, I did pull this off of a Tracy site and cleaned up the grammar and took out some "notes" that weren't really relavant. But, if you know more history on the forms or where to find it, I would love to hear it. Or descriptions/video of some of the lesser known forms would be great.

Kata is a Japanese term. The Chinese terms are Sets and Forms. Original Kenpo did not have Katas but there were over 30 different Sets.
