Has anyone ever heard of Kappo? Is supposedly has some connections to ninjitsu. It was more of a martial art taught to the bodyguards of the royal family in Japans past, but I heard it does have some similarities to Ninjitsu. I have a video tape from Japan of a Kappo tournamnet, and the cloths they wear are very similar to ninjitsu. Anyone know about any of this? Thanks.

Actually, it is called "koppo" and there is a similar term with the same charecters used in the Bujinkan.

As such, I picked up a video tape and book set on what I think you are talking about. I don't think much of the guys claims and I don't see many people in Japan that seem to take them seriously either. His tournaments might appeal to some, but I would classify what he does as not coming from the same source as ninjutsu until there is some sort of proof.
