Some sweet K9 training videos from Europe. I want my dog to be good around kids, so we would probably differ on training philosophies, but pretty cool to see what working dogs are capable of...

This is more congruent with our philosophy. Not as intense of a training session featured here as those crazy Frenchman, but notice that the dog is not in conflict and overstressed, so he is able to "out" and "down" and so forth on command without sacrificing bite intensity. This is a dog happy to be working...

Nice video Paul. I am a big fan of well trained German sheperds. Smart, intelligent big dogs that can defend and yet still be family friendly if treated well. (treated well being the operative word) One of my old bosses had a trained K9 german sheperd who was one of the greatest dogs I have ever met. However, you would not want to be attacking his owner.
