hi all,

i am new here, and i wanted to learn more about diet when you're into martial arts. i hope that you could help me with this, and I hope there are also females who are practicing martial arts, particularly muay thai so i could relate with her. It's so hard to see women practicing these martial arts.
i hope to hear from all you soon. thanks :)

Welcome!

Martial arts diet, you can have a good one following these 8 simple rules.

1: Eat every 2-3 hours.
2: Eat complete, lean protein with every meal. Less than 1/3rd of calories of your protein source being from fat is an ok guide.
3: Vegetables each time you eat.
4: NO carbs aside from fruit and vegetables unless it's immediately after a workout. Yes this means no bread. If you must cheat, make it whole as possible.
5: Healthy fats daily. Almonds, avocado, coconut, etc.
6: Don't drink anything with more than 0 calories. No soda, no beer, etc.
7: Eat whole, natural food whenever possible. Least processed the better
8: Drink water constantly. Even if you aren't thirsty. Always have water in your hand.
