Finger injury advice

Hey guys,
Havent posted for a while, wanted to know if anyone else here has had any injuries to their fingers. I am suffering from tenosynovitis in my pinky fingers , mainly from training with heavy bahi stick on rubber tires once a week. What can you guys recommend for preventative measures in future? Such as strapping tapes etc? Right now I will have to endure cortisone injection in my fingers.
