In the event that you wish to close your MartialTalk Account, you can do 2 different methods.

1- Stop visiting. Your account will be closed after aproximately 60-90 days of inactivity.

2- Send a PM to either myself or Seig and ask that it be closed. We honor all close requests within 24-48 hours. We will also verify that you stop receiving any emails from this site.

We ask that you please use method 2 as it is the most efficient.

Thank you

From our current Terms of Service

2.9 Closing Your Account

We no longer close accounts. If you wish to no longer be here for any reason, simply do not log in any more.

It is not our policy to delete accounts on demand.

2.11 Reopening Your Account

If you have previously closed your account or had your account closed, you may reopen it by contacting our Admin Team, provided the account is still in our database. You may be asked to provide additional information to ensure account security.

2.12 Account Termination

A member who is rude, excessively negative, or disruptive may receive a warning or may be suspended or banned immediately. Suspending and banning is done at the discretion of the administration team.

Any abuse directed at our all-volunteer moderation/administration team, including defying the moderators/administrators to suspend or ban a member, may result in an immediate suspension or ban.

Membership on MartialTalk is a privilege, not a right.

Did you read the initial posts?

Yup, but the law stands above some forum rules / policy.

I live in Europe and as you are allowing EU users you have to abide by the GDPR.
Means you are going to delete this account completely or I will take legal actions (which I don't even have to pay for as it's my right).

So eventually you have to delete my account, my posts and my name: Art. 17 GDPR – Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’) | General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

I already wrote to an administrator, I would however be happy if you speed up the process and get rid of my account and everything related to it rather than having some law case about a bloody forum account.

Up to you.

Honestly, I don't think he understands Art. 17 GDPR and how it does and DOES NOT apply to countries outside of the EU

Does the GDPR Apply to Your US-based Company?

It also doesn't do quite what a lot of people on forums think it does. There's no obligation to delete a user from a forum, just to anonymize his data. That said, with someone like this who was likely going to be banned anyway, this just made that decision easier for us.

Hi. Can you delete my account please?

I haven't even entered the website since 2016 and suddenly I got a warning from Google that my account details were leaked online, and I started receiving emails again, almost daily.

Please delete this account, for I no longer believe in any of the ******** you martial artists post and talk about all the time.

Thank you.
