Don't cut your nails too short

I cut my nails a bit short this week. Just got back from class. My thumb is open where the fingertip meets the nail. I'm guessing from my fingertip pressing up past the nail. Lesson learned.

I have to cut my nails for work now just like I did for grappling. Always leave a bit of the white. Even if you don’t injure yourself, it gets sore easily if you cut too close to the quick.

Try athletic tape in case you make that mistake again.
