Every dojang and instructor is different and has different preferences. Do you practice breathing exercises and healing techniques? What other forms of conditioning do you practice or teach? What do you feel is the level of necessity of these? If you feel they are unnecessary, what do you feel is not worth while about them?

Please, keep opinions as polite as possible.

Breathing yes. Healing no.

Breathing exercises are viewed as essential for the same reason that it is essential in operatic training: you are exerting yourself and proper breathing enables you to perform your techniques with less effort and for a greater duration.

You are welcome, Sir.

I must admit that I am surprised. Generally, topics such as healing in martial arts generates a lot of heat (and often very little light).
