Couple of Japanese swords at recent auction

thought folks might be interested. I’m curious of anyone has any additional information about them.
This one sold for $1600 (really $2000 as there is a 25% fee to the house)

Title: Japanese 17th/18th Cent. Katana Samurai Sword
Estimate: $500 - $1,000
Description: Japanese 17th/18th Cent. Katana Samurai Sword 44''. Blade measures 35'' to end of tang. Inventory notes from consignor read ''Yamoto blade of Shinogi-zukuri and Ihorimune style. Smith made circa 1670. Nakago is 8'' long with one mekugi-ana and mostly black rust.'' It has a gold inlaid iron fuchi and copper tsuba bearing Kodzuka-ana and Kakihan seals (18th cent.). Lacquered wood scabbard (split with some chipping). Blade has been dulled. Edo period.

Title: Japanese 17th/18th Cent. Wakizashi Samurai Sword
Estimate: $400 - $800
Description: Japanese 17th/18th Cent. Wakizashi Samurai Sword 25''. Blade measures 18'' to end of tang. Inventory notes from consignor read ''Unokubi-zukuri style. 4'' Nakago with two mekugiana and nakago has been shortened. Blade dates to circa 1600.'' It has an iron Mokko shaped tsuba dating circa 1750. Matching iron dragon fuchi and kashira (badly rusted). Pair of matching shakudo dragon menuki in handle. Saya is shagreen imitation lacquered wood and missing Kodzuka. Edo period.

Skeptical. Unpapered swords at auction are... not likely to be the genuine article.
