This is a strange case.

If this was your situation as the owner, what would you have done? If you were the company, would you have pursued? If you were the judge, would you have thought this case had merit?

It seems to be in a community THAT small (Slidell's 1999 population is estimated to be 32,000) that somebody could have mentioned to the property owners that they were in default and losing their property.

Something smells fishy about this. I mean, not only did it end up in a public tax sale (that they didn't know about) but it also went past the three-year redemption period.
