1 point contact is striking. 2 or 3 points contact is throwing. Taiji invent 1 point contact pushing which is neither striking nor throwing. At least Aikido uses 2 or 3 point contact throw which is more realistic.

That's just wrong, Taijiquan has strikes, kicks, Qinna and Shuaijiao, Taijiquan has more points of contact for a throw if necessary.1 point contact is striking. 2 or 3 points contact is throwing.
