I am thinking about buying an already filled bag from fairtex.com. I know people say to buy an unfilled bag because it is cheaper, but I live in St. Louis MO and while there are boxing gyms in the area it would be more hassle to transport my bag once it gets filled assuming that one of the gyms can fill it. This is because I drive a 2002 Honda civic and transporting a 6ft filled banana bag would be hard.

Have you thought about where you're going to put it, how you're going to hang it, and where you're going to hang it from?

A 6' bag starts around 70 pounds, off the top of my head. And that's before you get into the shock and stress on whatever you mount it from and the walls...

Yes I have thought of it. I am going to use the TITLE Rafter Heavy Bag Hanger.
The most secure way to hang your heavybag into 16" ceiling joists.
Convenient for garages, basements, gyms or anywhere with exposed rafters.
Made of super heavy gauge steel and able to hold any heavybag.
Provides twice the stability than conventional single joist hanger.
Mounting hardware into wood joists included
