anyone know what the theem for this year is
Themes for 2003 are
Juppou-sesshou (from ShindenFudoRyu),
Kunai, Ninja-tou, Tessen, Kyoketsushoge.
(No specific Ryuha for Taijutsu.)

Ninja-tou is the katana used in Ninpo...only about 21 inches in length, CURVED 
D) just like a katana. It gives the receiver the idea that it's a standard katana due to the tsuka length and the saya. When drawn, it's much shorter for very quick work. Some that I've seen are serated like a saw.
