Article on Stockpiling food

Was reading the same article earlier and was thinking that with rising food costs that it might be a good idea.
Sad that it's coming down to this when this country used to be considered the "Breadbasket" of the world. Probably still is in a lot of ways but... sigh.
Might be time to start buying bread making machines and baking your own loaves. They won't be the perfectly shaped loaves that you see in the store but it's bread and if done right can be down right tasty.

Lot more fun and educational to make your own, no need for a bread machine. The 100+ dollars will still buy a lot of flour.

Oh, and that article said flour is up 13%, it isn't, it is more like 200% from last year for bulk sales. Grocery stores are selling flour as a loss leader, that won' last.
