One more time I was reminded of the infamous Jeff Foxworthy routine...

And dangit, I think he was right all along:

We took the kid to the airport in December, before Christmas, to visit family...

Today we pick him up....and he does not show and does not show.

he calls.
From somebody else's phone....(of course, his had to die yesterday...)

get on the train to baggage claim, come on up the stairs, go left...
Another hour later...a couple more phone calls later....

in the mean time since the kid departed, Atlanta has opened it's brand new international airport 2 miles down the road.
Oh, and nobody knew.
(Ok, the TSA guy not knowing a thing does not mean Jack, I know) it seemed that even the people working there had no idea...

So heads up, Atlanta has now two big airports.

Oh, I have gotten used to not finding the same airport when I traveled...but that was with months and years in between travels...this is the first time the ant like building habits caught me off guard within a 2 week span!
