FYI John McCain is a member of the Trilateral commission, co-founded by Brzezinski, an organization that states that its ultimate goal is none other then establishing world government.

Hegelian dialectic is still alive in American politics. So much for democracy. Kinda makes the whole vote rigging thing a red herring...

Not really. I think the electoral college is one of the smartest concoctions of the founding father. Consider if it did not exist. Why would any candidate campaign anywhere other than NY, California, Texas or any heavy populated state? What would happen to the Rhode Islands, the Alaskas, the North Dakotas?

Never heard of it. Will have to look it up... Would you consider the UN a precursor to world government?

Yes. The UN has no real power though. What people like Brzezinski want is for organizations LIKE the UN, note that I did not say the UN, to have real power. The trilateral commission was set up in order to give powerful corporations a direct voice in setting up a new world order.

For all of you who think that Obama is our savior, check this out...

None other then Zbigniew Brzezinski is one of his foreign policy advisors.

Here's just a little tidbit on Brzezinski...

Holy crap! I hate being right...

You may not be in this instance, though.

A presidential candidate may have literally scores of advisors for the economy, foreign policy, domestic program. etc. I don't feel it is fair that every view of every advisor be imputed to the candidate. Indeed, it is not at all uncommon for advisers to have widely differing views. An advisor is just what the title implies.

John McCain and both Clintons are members of the Trilateral Commission. Obama's wife sits with the CFR. There's too many connections to the organizations that would like nothing other then to erode US sovereignty and, at the very least, see a North American Union superstate in the near future.

I know that a lot of people here support Obama and he certainly seems to be the media's chosen one, but I don't think you can hide the fact that taking someone on like Brzezinski is significant.

You can see his hand here...

Saying the nation has lost a ``sense of shared prosperity,'' the presidential candidate called for giving the Federal Reserve greater supervisory authority when it acts as a lender of last resort, strengthening the capital requirements for financial companies and streamlining the collection of overlapping regulatory agencies that oversee Wall Street.

Giving our private central bank more authority to manage our economy gives the same people who back Brzezinski more power to move the country in any way they see fit.

Here's more from the same article.

He cited the repeal in 1999 of the Glass-Steagall Act, which separated commercial and investment banking and one of the hallmark laws of the late President Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal economic program. While that allowed banks and securities firms to compete more directly, the absence of a replacement reflecting changes in financial markets led to excesses.

Repealing this law gives financial institutions a greater hand in manipulating the market. This is one of the reasons it was passed after the depression.

The Federal Reserve should have basic supervisory authority over any institution to which it may make credit available as a lender of last resort, Obama said. ``Taxpayers have every right to expect that these institutions are not taking excessive risks,'' he said.

The taxpayers have no say with what happens at the Fed. They are a private organization. Giving them more authority to manage any institution that they issue credit puts a lot more power into the hands of a very few.

Obama, 46, is offering a ``credible approach,'' former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, an Obama supporter who attended the speech, said in an interview. ``You can't solve this problem overnight, but you've got to have a thoughtful review of it and accept the logic that regulatory authority has to be extended and strengthened.''

Volcker is a Bilderberger. His comments stress that he beleives that management of the economy by the few like him is the best way to go.

Bzezinski and Volker. Trilateral, CFR, and Bilderberger. I'm sure if you looked at any candidate, they'd all have the same connections.

Brzezinski Seizing Control Over US policy in Slow-Motion Coup

WASHINGTON DC -- Events of the past few days indicate that the Zbigniew Brzezinski faction of lunatic Russia haters have now won the upper hand inside the secret councils of the Anglo-American finance oligarchy, displacing the hitherto dominant George Shultz-neocon faction. Although George Bush and his cronies still occupy the White House, the policies that are being carried out are coming from the Brzezinski left CIA machine. Brzezinski has returned to public prominence in recent months due to his role as top establishment controller for the Obama campaign. But Brzezinski is not waiting for the outcome of the November elections to take over key parts of the US government. Brzezinski and his left CIA allies are already moving to assert their strategy, even as the neocons and their characteristic obsessions are moved to the back burner. The probability of an attack on Iran or Syria is declining, even as the danger of confrontation with Russia, China, and Pakistan all much more dangerous targets to trifle with increases exponentially.

There is a lot of interesting information here. It makes sense when you think about it. The MSM is completely owned by the finance oligarchs and they have basically anointed Obama as their man. The Neocons are on their way out and the new imperialists are on their way in!

Well, he certainly has experienced and intelligent advising, then, regardless of what one thinks of the man himself...

I fully agree. If I were President, I'd like to have a Harvard/Columbia professor who's been knee-deep in foreign policy work since the 1950's. Who cares if he's a Bildeberger?

All politicians have personal interests in mind. They all end up being crooks.
