Yes, miguksaram is the only way to refer to someone to be American. Miguk = America....Saram=Person. Koreans make it simple...when referring to someone from a particular country, they just use the country name and 'saram'. (Example: China=Chinguk so Chinese person is Chinguksaram). Hope this helps.
