I was just curious to know what BJJ Academies had the best reputations in the San Francisco Bay Area, in California, West Coast, or even in the USA? I'm not talking about size or number of students but students' performance and the number of successful students produced from a given academy. Not trying to start a flame war, just trying to see if any one academy produces more "big names" than others.

I would have to say for San Fransisco/ bay area Cesaer Gracie has produced the most high level grapplers with David Terrell, Nick and Nate Diaz, and Jake Shields. For California I would say Paragon in Santa Barbara. Jeff Glover, Tyrone Glover (though wer at Cassio's can claim some credit here since he trained his purple and brown belt years with us), and Bill Cooper. For the US I'd have to go with Alliance in Atlanta Ga.123
