People can get really worked up over what somebody else says on a text message or for that matter over the internet. Look at what sending the wrong kind of text message can lead to.

perfect example of the lack of respect for human life I spoke of in other threads.

That boy was obviously a psychopath and should've been dealt with before this happened, but the fact of the matter is that you shouldn't say the wrong thing to the wrong person or something like this can happen. Mocking somebody about a dead family member is something you just don't do. It doesn't make what the boy did right but saying stuff over texts, or over the internet can set people off.

It doesnt matter what they say you dont strap on boots and kick a little girls head in but yeah that guy has issues

There is no reason for that kind of behavior, if that guy had any common sense he would know it's a text message get over it. But the fact he took the message so seriously only means he has problems. A person like him needs to go to a mental hospital. I can think of literally many reasons why attacking someone over a message is a bad idea and not a single reason why he should do it

Last November a group of teens from Treacy's high school, Deerfield Beech High, set 15-year-old Michael Brewer on fire over a dispute about a stolen video game. Brewer suffered burns to 80 percent his body. Three of the teens were charged as adults.

Looks like more than one have some serious neurological issues. Hope the kid pulls through and my thoughts are with her, also Brewer as well, bloody horrific!

Yes it was apparently the guy was sentenced to 20 years and the victim has permanent brain damage

As it is, the girl has made some good recovery but it is uncertain and unlikely that she will make a full recovery. The guy who did this will be behind bars for a long long time although there was debate in court if he had the mental facilities to be fully charged. He tried to plead insanity but he still got the full sentence.
