Hi All.
I've finally found a Muay Thai school where I live and have always wanted to do some form of Martial Art.
At the age of 26, I was wondering if I might be too old to start?
Will I still be able to reach my full potential and become competitive?

Thanks guys!

i'm 42 and have my first fight (and yes, i will propaly to some 20 year old kid. :) ) in a month, i have been doing muay thai for litttle over a year.

It's not about becoming a big MT star, but what you learn along the way.

Thanks and Yes, you're right. It's more about the learning experience; fitness, and strength.
I guess it all comes down to my own dedication, whether I'll be able to win fights or not.

There's a difference between getting into competitions and turning pro.
I think that everyone who is fit and skilled enough can compete in amateur fights (your instructor can arrange interclub fights).

Good choice of MA!

And no, you're definitely not too late to start at 26!
