Sparring is Dead

I said it. Since I'm taking blood thinners, sparring is straight up dangerous for me. My sparring days are over. There are other medical reasons some folks might find sparring dangerous.

Sparing can be dangerous for anyone; bruises, breaks, sprains, etc.. You just have a better reason to avoid it. I have had a detached retina twice in one eye, sparing is not the best idea for me either, per my eye doc. It appears getting hit in the head can cause you eye problems, especially after retina detachment...

It's not a long drive in my case. I like to spar, very much. But I no longer can do so safely.

Sorry man, that sucks, but I totally get it. We do what we can do for as long as we can do it.
