Hubby and his brother have been cooking up a business idea....
A photo booth, similar to the ones found in malls and public places...just home made.

The program requires a Canon camera...(the only really good thing about the plan...I get to go camera shopping! :D but probably still without the long lenses I drool over)

And all his schemes involve me having to do the work....sheesh....
(He did suggest I go and take some college classes though...)

If you are going with the Canon, i would recommend the 7D or one of the other PRO models all 3 of the Rebels have a signifigant lag when shooting multiple shots in sucession.

The 7D is brand new, and very nice. If it is in your budget, I'd strongly recommend it.

7D is about $1500 for the body alone.
The 60D is around $800.

Either will take a decent shot, and use the same lenses.

If you go with the 5D ($2500 body) you'll have to use L lenses, which are more $$$ and are probably overkill for this type of project.

Just as a reference, for quality, most of my Masters portraits are shot with an XSI and 50mm 1.8 prime.

Well, we got the Rebel T3i (no, I was not asked)

However it seems to do the job. Hubby and his brother spend the weekend building a photo booth.

Now, i am skeptical, but this little gig could be something.

Once I get unpacked I share details (but not too many ;))
