Disturbing but not suprising...

The RCMP has been squirrelling away far too much highly sensitive information about Canadians on secret databases, an audit by Canada's privacy commissioner has concluded.

Hey! Who do you guys think you are? The USA? :lol2:

Actually ... it's not funny. More evidence to the existence of Big Brother.

How about DHS looking at laptop contents and copying hard drives? I store proprietary information on my laptop and I don't trust a guy making $10.00/hour with that information.

Being an American citizen and having gotten Canadian permanent residency and moved here 7 months ago, this is not surprising. Big Brother is everywhere. It's kinda relative though....look at the situation in Vladimir Putin's Russia. Now that's real bad.

Actually, I do have stuff to hide on my laptop. There's trade secrets and confidential corporate information on there.
