This is something I've said has been needed for years... I haven't understood why we can't make a jet engine that essentially transitions to a rocket engine -- or even at least just a jet with separate rocket engines to go into and out of orbit. Instead, we keep flinging spacecraft up on rockets... and let 'em fall back down when we're done. Even the Space Shuttle wasn't much better...

Let's hope they keep rolling with this, and have great success!
