Can't see the photo you are linking to. But I have been at the museum and saw the made in Taiwan blade they had there. Same as you can get through the mail.

My only guess as to why is that after all the movies from Hong Kong and America with straight blades, they threw one in to keep people happy. Or maybe it was donated. I've seen it, and it is not a historical item.
