I just watched the replay online. Disappointed to see Steven lose. I was surprised at how many kicks to the legs the ref was allowing, from both sides, but especially by the Azerbaijani. Steven just couldn't seem to connect any of his head kicks.

I am surprised the fight was as close as it was! Lopez is not on the Level of Azizov at this point in his career. He will probably get a shot in the repecharge. That will be very tough also.

Paige on the other hand pulled a big upset way to go Paige...

Lopez is out of the repechage now, but Paige still has the potential for a bronze.

Rhonda on Ladytkd has an excellent write-up about the "injuries" and why in the hell did they fight instead of the alternates in the first place.

I dont wnt to post it without her permission.

All i can say is...

GOODBYE LOPEZES.

That's not her write up, it is an ap article. Her contribution is the three questions at the top.
