Seeking Cane Masters, Cane-Do, Cane Fu, Canne de Combat, or similar instruction in the San Francisco/Berkeley area. Not interested in learning Hapkido (or some other art) for years, before being taught cane fighting. If anyone hears of any class, workshop, etc., please let me know.

Bay Mountain Wing Tsun teaches Latosa Escrima.
I know it's not cane, but you start out learning the stick, which would transfer over to cane quite nicely. Escrima is very no frills and very practical.
The head instructor there is Simon Mayer who is Rene Latosa's top guy in US.
In fact, he may be his highest ranking student second only to Bill Newman of Great Britain.
Also, Rene Latosa himself lives in SF area and you might even be fortunate enough to train with him
