Tracy to Parker, Parker to Tracy Converts....

To start, I am looking for just the positives... there aree plenty of threads out there for why people feel ones is better than another. Not looking for that. I was hoping to hear about the positives that resulted from your prior training with one of the other versions.
For me personally, I miss some of the old-scshool/traditional aspects of when I was learning the Tracy system. I enjoyed many of the forms. Self-defense and combat is nto the only reason I train. I think my beginnings gave me a better understanding of what I was learning in the Parker system. I enjoyed the forms. Now that I am now longer strictly with either systems, I feel that it is helping me better understand any new material in Kempo or Arnis.
I really enjoy speaking about Kenpo, no matter who's. I think th transition also helped me have an open mind to other ideas and thoughts.
