At what point does your school start to teach advance kicks.
I know some that start at white or beginners belts other wait until intermediate while others are at advance.
What are your reason behind teaching techniques early on if you do?

What kicks are defined as "advanced" kicks?
I know with different schools and different belt rankings, different kicks are taught at different levels. Also sometimes u learn a kick way wearlier than you are suppose to under some circumstances.

For example I learned my tornado kick I think at orange belt. We had a guest instructor for a week and his tornado kick was poetry in motion and my instructor allowed me to learn it b/c of the circumstances.

Yeah about blue. The 5th belt: White, yellow, orange, green, then blue. We had to do turning side kick for green. However we don't have to jump and spin until blue belt test.

I can do jump spinning cresent already. So they let me learn the tornado.

Funny I had a white belt go to a tourney. He just watched a few kicks and the next thing I know he was practicing jump 360 sides...........he's got a great future!
