Congrats on the new rank, now you get to learn some real fun techs. Took me a little over a year to get purple but wow what a ride.

So how different is your training in kenpo from what you studied in kajukenbo?

Well, for one, the Physics behind the movements and the rapid fire strikes that kenpo has is a little different. Learning the actual "why we do something" has been overwhelming helpful when learning the techniques. There are a lot of principles and concepts in kenpo that I do not remember touching on in Kajukenbo. So far, I like kenpo and will continue in it. Once I can remember some Kajukenbo applications, I will try to insert them in techniques.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement. I am looking forward to Blue Belt. I hear that there are quite a few cool techniques here.

Congrats. I was so excited when I got my belt. I got my eye socket broke during testing. But when it was all said and done, I was happy. All part of the game. Now you can look foward to a new adventure. keep your hands up. ares
