Hi all, I'm a noob to the forums - been reading for a few weeks.

I own a full set of Twins thai gear - it's great. I've been training with some friends who own no gear, so we have been sharing mine (mostly focus pad drills). One of my friends SWEATS UP A STORM!

I've gotten over the gross factor, but what should I be putting in my equipment so it doesn't get damanged? I used some baby powder yesterday which seemed to work well.

Just wipe the gear down after use. It should be fine. Remember, it's supposed to get beat on. Twins makes great gear and it should last a while.

Makes sure gloves get a good airing out before going back into your kit bag .

I've seen gloves grow mould inside them from being put away wet .

Vaseline on the Thai pads, bag etc will keep them soft and stop them from cracking.
