I'm not familiar with all the options in cups these days. What is the best thing available from a martial arts supplier?

I have a Reebok hockey compression short that holds a cup. Works great for me.

I think the fit and compression matter more than the exact product. I wear a cup in a supporter and a tight compression short over that. I'm looking for two vital things: 1) no shifting around and a snug fit so you get full protection, and 2) a cup shape that fits your body well enough that you can hit your cup hard and have the shock spread in the least painful way possible. Some cups are narrower, some curved differently...they're not all the same. I've tried different ones over the years and found that with the right cup and the above doubled elastic I can minimize damage even from hard shots. I prefer a more rigid cup, though some these days have flexible edges. I think the key is testing. For me it's too important to guess once and call it good.
