Cross training

I am now cross training in Wing Chun and Swai Zhou, anyone here training in Swai Zhou? I am a beginner in both, and would rather train in just Wing Chun but my teacher requires you to learn both at the same time. Any one here train in these two arts? If so, what are your opinions?

Most CMA's have a degree of Shuai Jiao ( :asian: ) in them.

Why is your teaching "requiring" you to learn both at the same time?? One is plenty to study.

I haven't trained specifically in these styles, but I've done alot of fighting with people who have. I realle enjoy Shuai Jiao, a good friend of mine teaches and I really enjoy working out with him.

His sifu prolly wants him to have some grappling and throws to go along with his striking to make him more well rounded.
